Recently just bought some upgraded appliances for the the home; been looking at several options for my cooking needs. After I learned how to use it, I picked a Santoku knife which is nice for some Japanese cooking that I do. Of course, this is one of the first major “higher end” knives that I purchased and had to learn how to care for it but it’s well worth the investment. Cuts through most things like butter.
Also got a new pasta maker, specifically the CucinaPro Imperia model which was well reviewed on Amazon. If you’ve ever tried to make your own pasta before, it can be a hassle cutting it out and separating up the noodles. It can get clumpy and hard extremely fast if it’s not used quick enough, and getting a specific kind of pasta can be difficult with some sort of machine or cut out. Thankfully this thing will save me alot of time when making some homemade spaghetti or ravioli, it’s hard to cut those type of noodles by hand.
Anyway, that’s what’s been going on in my kitchen. Slowly getting the kinds of things that will help improve my cooking technique and the time it takes to make dishes. If you have any interesting additions to your kitchen, then let me know in the comments. Until next time, have a good one!
